Will somebody please tell me how to freeze time. I swear I just posted her six month post on our blog. She is growing up so fast, and we just love her more and more each day. These days Hali loves sitting up on her own while playing with her toys on the floor. She is starting to babble a lot more, and has even started saying 'mama' (again just babbling, not really specifically to me). Her hair is getting to be so blonde, and as I said before her eyes are getting more and more blue. She rolls all over the place, and has just started to get up on her hands and knees. Hali is a great eater, and she loves to eat anything! She has never really spit anything out or shown us she doesn't like a certain food. She is still a ball full of energy who loves to smile and laugh. We just love that she is such a happy baby (we were a little worried those first three months). She loves to go swimming, and we try to take her a couple times a week. She has been dunked in the water a couple of times and it doesn't bother her at all. With the help of one finger from Travis she will even float on her back. We are hoping she will be a good little swimmer. She still loves watching her baby Einstein videos, especially baby lamb on the video "Lullaby Time". Hali is very much a people person. She loves having lot of people around even if they aren't talking to her. She gets very sad when it is just her and I at home during the day and I leave the room. She enjoys being outside and loves pulling out the grass. Finally, (knock on wood) she is starting to sleep through the night! It is such a weird feeling to go to bed at night and wake up in the morning without any interruptions, but we sure do love it! This little girl has brought us so much joy and even though it is sad to see her grown up, it is also so much fun! We love you Hali!!

Happy Fathers Day!
I just wanted to wish all of the dads out there a very Happy Fathers Day! My little Hali is a very lucky girl to have such a great daddy! I have to thank Travis for everything he does for our family! He works so hard for us, and I am very grateful. He loves spending time with Hali and it is no surprise that he can make her laugh like nobody else can. She sure loves her daddy, and so do I!!
I also wanted to wish my own dad a very Happy Fathers Day! My dad is an awesome man! I have learned so many things from him including how to love, work hard, respect others, be responsible, be kind, and to be friends with everybody. My dad is also the best 'grumps' Hali could ever ask for, we love you!
Obviously when you get married you gain a new father in-law, and I know I couldn't have gotten any luckier in that department. Dan is one of the neatest men I know, and I am so grateful for the way he has welcomed me into his family as if I were one of his own! He has done a great job raising Travis to be such a wonderful man (with the help of LeAnne of course.) He has the best stories you'll ever hear and he too is a wonderful grandpa to Hali!
Of course we can't forget Grandpas. I have the best, most supportive Grandpas in the world! Seriously, ever since I can remember they have always supported me in everything I have done. They were at my softball, volleyball, and basketball games, over for birthdays, and pretty much anything else that was going on in my life!
As you can see, I am blessed with many great men in my life and I love them all!

Beautiful baby blues
Of course being Hali's mother I think everything about her is beautiful, but lately her eyes have been getting a lot of compliments from complete strangers. Just recently her eyes have gotten drastically bluer, and I guess I am not the only one who has noticed. I took this picture the other night and realized just how blue they really are getting!

Growing Girl
We just took Hali in for her 6 month check up (at 6 1/2 months) and we were surprised at just how much she has grown. She is now 19 pounds (fully clothed) and 27 inches. This puts our Hali in the 90th percentile in both height and weight. She also got two shots, and did really well. She is one healthy girl, and we sure are grateful.

First Little Piggy Tails
I decided to give pig tails a try in Hali's hair. They looked so darn cute, however, she wasn't so willing to let me do them. The first pony she was okay with (she is use to having just one) but she sure fought me on the second one. So for now this will be the first and last time she will have pig tails (hence all the pictures).
