Hali's First Birthday!

On November 16th, our little girl turned one! It was quite crazy to think she has been a part of our family for a whole year. We just had a little party with family and close friends. Of course she got spoiled with many clothes and fun toys. Towards the end of opening presents she started grasping the idea that under the wrapping paper was something new and fun to play with. I made her a little ladybug cake because everybody calls her 'bug', and she sure enjoyed digging into it. We just feel so blessed to have her in our family. Anybody who knows Hali, knows that this girl is full of personality. She loves getting attention and making people laugh. She is a constant ball of energy and we just love her so much.

On to November...

About the middle of November (a couple days before Hali's birthday) we made the big move into our new house. I cannot believe the amount of stuff we had accumulated over the last four years of living in our basement apartment. So after about four major days of moving we got everything moved. I never dreamed that we would enjoy having a house as much as we have. I think Hali is the one who loves it the most. She has had a whole new world to explore. Her favorite part of the house is definitely the pantry, and she could play in there all day. It was once we moved in that she really started to walk. For Travis and I we just love everything about it, especially the garage and the windows. I have yet to take pictures of every room, so for now I will just post a picture of the outside finished product! Please come and visit us any time!
